Light Membership Plan Details

Overview

Up to 6 hours of co-working per work-week (27hrs/month = 9 time slots) in our child-friendly space with desks that accommodate little babies. This plan is without childcare and specifically meant for parents with very young babies.

Extras:

• Private Meeting room access available for 10€/slot (3 hours)

• Printing is available on site. We charge 0,12 € per A4 page for black and white, and 0,58 € for color printing.

• Share this membership with your partner (co-parents only) for an extra 25€ per month.

How it works

With your Light "Baby" Membership, you can book up to 9 slots of coworking without childcare per month. Slots are 3 hours each and designed with working parents and Kita-hours in mind (9:00–12:00, 12:00–15:00, 15:00–18:00).

Through our booking system, you will be able to reserve the work desk as well as the childcare and play area of your choice:

Available work desks:

• 2 Babywearing Desks

• 2 Desks with Play-Pen

The café area is also available for working and has direct views to the Elementar area. You can bring a car seat or stroller bed to that area if needed.

Amenities:

• A coworking area with ergonomic designer chairs, a meeting room, high back sofas, privacy booth, and options for parents with small babies

• Two beautifully designed, Montessori-inspired play areas tailored to the respective age group

• A quiet and private zone for breastfeeding parents if needed

• Nap room with blackout curtains for children who need a snooze

• Changing room

• Bathrooms designed for children

• Family Café with play zone and toys, offering delicious coffee variations, tea, cakes, and snacks for every age group

Child Adjustment

Getting your child used to our caretakers is an important process that requires your participation.

We recommend allowing at least a few days before expecting to work without having to be constantly on call.

Teachers will ask you to come get your child for diaper changes, inconsolable crying, or breastfeeding requests.

Staying Close While Working

You must remain on the premises at all times while your child is in our care.

While you work, your child is lovingly cared for by educators who will ask you to come to your child if needed. You are also allowed to check in on your little one unprompted.

Coffee, drinks, snacks and lunch options are available on site if needed (for both adults and kids).

Food Policy

Please bring a water bottle for your child that doesn't spill.

No outside food is allowed on the premises (exceptions can be made for kids with special dietary needs).

Members can select food, snacks, and drinks from our menu. If you go for lunch outside of NEST, you must bring your child along with you.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

We ask parents to drop off and pick up their children on time. Please arrive with enough time to drop off your child without having to rush, but not too early. Similarly, please pick up your child promptly at the scheduled time.

Nap Room Policy

We provide a nap room with mats for children who require a nap. Parents are responsible for putting their child to sleep. Please bring a sleeping bag if needed. You may use a babyphone and bring extra blankets and pillows if needed, as long as this doesn't affect the space and sleep of other children napping. Be mindful of other children who may be napping at the same time and keep any noise to an absolute minimum.

Vaccination Policy

In accordance with the German Measles Protection Act (Masernschutzgesetz, § 20 IfSG), proof of complete measles vaccination (two doses) is mandatory for all children aged 12 months and older who wish to use the childcare facilities at NEST CoWork & Play. Parents of children under 12 months of age who have not yet reached the recommended age for measles vaccination have the option to book our designated baby-friendly desks (with playpen / babywearing) at a 50% discount, as their children can't yet use the childcare and play areas.
