This month, we are thrilled to have Franziska & Björn from PARENTPRENEURS share their expertise on Family-friendly Business Design: how to structure your business so it fits you and your life.
"How do I earn a good income for myself and my family with a manageable amount of time and maximum flexibility?" Most parents hit this question at some point. Sometimes it's the moment a part-time salary and the career path attached to it stop adding up. Sometimes it's the freelance week that disappears because everyone is home sick from daycare again. Starting your own thing sounds like the obvious answer. The harder part is making it work inside a full, unpredictable day.
That's where Franziska (serial entrepreneur and design thinking expert) and Björn (psychotherapist and educational scientist) of ParentPreneurs come in. Their approach starts with two questions: what actually matters to you and your family, and what structure does your business need in order to fit that? They combine design thinking with psychologically grounded methods.
You'll leave with a different way of seeing why parents make such good entrepreneurs, plus the Family Business Canvas, a tool for designing your business around your life rather than the other way round.

This is exactly where Sleep Practitioner Mercedes Süllau comes in. In this talk, she explains what lies behind the sleep patterns of babies and toddlers, why much of it is completely normal, and how to lovingly navigate the situation.
Mercedes supports families in developing healthy and age-appropriate sleep habits for their baby or child. Please note that this is strictly not about sleep training.

Relaxation educator and children's yoga teacher Norma Mürmann combines movement, mindfulness, and relaxation in a playful way. In her classes, children are free to move around, laugh, unwind, and let their imaginations run wild.
Through playful yoga exercises, children discover their bodies in a mindful way. They learn to move, find their balance, and become aware of their own strength. This not only improves their motor skills and posture but also builds their confidence in their own abilities.
